My Weekend Plantings

It's been such a beautiful weekend.  Yesterday I planted several flowers in containers. 

    Here are the photos:

This is a new perennial for me.  It's called "Lewisia". 
It's a little hard to tell in this photo, but the flowers are almost waxy looking.  Very pretty.

Trying a new vine in my "cat planter". Hoping the smell will not be one my cat enjoys.  :)
This plant is called "Licorice".

This container is on the steps to my deck.
The pink flower is a "Regal Geranium".
The trailing flowers are "Lobelia".



These containers are on my front sidewalk. 
The plant in the center isn't blooming yet, but it will be yellow and is a "Coreopsis (Early Sunrise).
The pink and purple trailing flowers are "Verbena".





Good old reliable "Vinca".
It can take the afternoon sun on my front porch.
