Fall Flowers

My yard and flowers are in the process of changing from Summer to Fall.  The beautiful Summer flowers are slowly dying back.  I have added several new flowers for Fall.  Hopefully, some of them will also look good during the Winter.

Autumn Sign in Flower bed

Our front porch Madevilla is still looking beautiful in September!
I've added yellow mums to the front of the house.
Two of the other containers have pansies and viola, they just don't show up well yet.

This is a perennial that will be
added to my flower bed
once all of the Blanket Flowers
are finished blooming for the
summer.  This is called
"Lady in Pink Heather".

 Ornamental Cabbage

I put this arrangement together for the steps up to my
deck.  It has ornamental cabbage, Pansies,
Lobularia as well as a Dracaena Spike.
Purple & White Mums

The following plants are all at or around the arbor.

Purple Fountain Grass
(could bloom all Winter)

Mums from last Fall.  This is the second time they have bloomed this year.
They bloomed in the Spring as well.

This is my favorite arrangement so far this Fall.  I have Dusty Miller, Pansies, Kale, and Celosia
(tall purple and white flower).
All of these flowers/plants should last all Fall and Winter.

Vintage Lavender Stock,
Red Rooster Sedge, and ornamental cabbage,

We are making our first attempt at growing Pampas Grass.  This is at the beginning of our driveway.

In April Hubert put the white fence and planted these roses.  The ones on the fence are Lady Banks Roses and will bloom yellow in the Spring.  The ones on either side of the fence are red Knockout Roses.  I am amazed at how much they have grown over the Summer.
